“Maximizing Your E-Newsletter & Surveys”
Topic: In this day and age of technology, many companies are
utilizing e-newsletters to communicate with their respective
audiences.
But is your hard work being trumped by spam filters? Did you
know at least 17 percent of permission e-mail (including
e-newsletters) is getting blocked by spam filters? While it’s
easy to distribute an electronic newsletter, it’s just as easy
for your readers to unsubscribe if the content isn’t relevant.
Come to the next PRSA meeting and learn how to maximize your

Perry Receives Top Alumni
Award
Hilary Perry, PRCA-B Board Member and Director of Public
Relations and Marketing for the Girl Scouts of North-Central
Alabama, was recently given the Troy University Outstanding Alumni
Award in the field of Public Relations. CONGRATULATIONS HILARY!
Todd Named Practitioner
of Year
Helen
Todd, APR, public relations manager at Southern Living, was named
the 2007 Philip R. Forrest Practitioner of the Year at PRCA’s annual
state conference, held September 16-18 in Mobile.
