Upcoming Events
Monthly Meetings - PRCA-B meets on the first Wednesday of every month and feature informative guest speakers, panel discussions and networking opportunities. Meetings start at 11:30 a.m. with lunch included in the cost. PLEASE NOTE: Our March 2012 Meeting location has changed to Alabama Power HQ at 600 18th Street N., in the media room.
You must register in advance for each meeting.

APR Study Course - PRCA-B will begin a six-to-ten week study course for PR professionals interested in earning their accreditation. The study group will meet weekly beginning Wednesday, February 15th, from noon to 1 p.m. at Myrtle's Cafe in the Little Professor bookstore in Homewod.

PRCA Medallion Awards - The Medallion Awards Program is an annual program that allows PR professionals to enter their work and projects for possible recognition. The deadline for PR projects produced during 2011 is Friday, January 27, 2012. Click here for more information.
Alabama Social Media Association - PRCA is pleased to announced its partnership with the new organization, the Alabama Social Media Association, or ALsocme. ALsocme is a professional organization open to anyone who wishes to share ideas or advance their knowledge of social media and how it is used.
They often hold educational networking events; there are usually several events a month. Be sure to sign up quickly for their events - tickets go quickly!
