SOS!  SOS!

Communicator overboard!

PRCA-Birmingham to the rescue!

Submit your SOS.

What is the SOS program?

You’ve just been asked to re-design your company’s Intranet.  Or maybe you’re looking for ways to cut costs on printing the upcoming annual report.  Chances are that there’s another PRCA-Birmingham member who’s just finished that same task and can answer some questions you have about their experiences.

How many times do you catch yourself trying to “recreate the wheel?”  PRCA is coming to your rescue.  Get answers to some of your work-related questions by sending out an SOS to your peers.

How can I submit an SOS?

Any member is welcome to submit his/her question to the Lifeguard.  Please include a detailed explanation of the information you seek, including a date by which responses are requested if applicable.  You can request that your query be submitted to the general membership anonymously.

How are responses collected and distributed?

Members can send their responses directly to the member needing help.  The responses can also be sent to the Lifeguard who will then summarize the responses for the chapter Web site.

Vicky Cullison, a PRCA-B member from O2 Ideas, submitted an SOS looking for executive/speaker training for top management on behalf of one of her clients.  Within 24 hours, PRCA-B members came to her aid, providing the names of four companies that offer such training.

“I received a number of excellent recommendations, and I know our client will be pleased with who we suggest.” -- Vicky Cullison.
